本稿では、スマートハウスやInternet of Thingsが普及した近未来における映像情報機器のプロトタイプ“ Bio-likeDisplay”（図１）について述べる。
“Bio-like Display”は、生物のように意思を持って動く情報端末の集合であり、互いに協調動作を行ったり相互作用を行ったりしながら、ときには漂いながらアンビエントな情報を提示し、またときにはユーザーに近づきながら積極的に情報を提示する。
映像端末はモーターによって回転する３本のアームによって保持されている。情報端末に生き物のような動きを与えることで、それぞれの関係性をゆるやかに暗示することを目指す。“Bio-like Display” は映像情報と生物的なモーションの組み合わせによる様々な人とのインタラクションを探るためのプラットフォームである。
In this paper, we propose a prototype of the video equipment used in scenes in which Smart House technology and the Internet of Things are applied. The proposed prototype employs a bio-like display, which is a set of these embedded display devices that move as if they are living objects. These displays collaborate and interact. They can subtly radiate information in the background and show ambient information, which is subconsciously perceived, or they can more intrusively engage with a user and conspicuously provide their information. In the bio-like display, three display devices are held by supporting arms that rotate by a motor. The relationship of the display devices is thereby implied with a lifelike motion. In sum, this proposed platform explores the interactions between humans and machines by using video information and lifelike motion.
