Vacancy Announcement: Faculty of Art and Design University of Tsukuba

The Faculty of Art and Design is pleased to announce recruitment for an
associate professor as follows.

  1. Position title: Tenure-track Associate Professor
  2. Number of position: One
  3. Research field: Art and Design Science
  4. Content of work:
    Research work in the field of Art and Design Science.
    Teaching the theory of Art and Design Science and practice in Art and Design
    Science works, at the School of Art and Design, the Master’s and Doctoral
    Program in Art and Design, etc.
  5. Start of employment: March 1, 2020
  6. Term of employment: Five years, tenure track
  7. Qualifications:
    1) Doctoral Degree or Ph.D., or the candidate scheduled to acquire it by the
    start of
    employment
    2) Ability to develop international research and proficiency in teaching and
    communication in English
    3) Outstanding achievement in the field of Art and Design Science researches
    and art or/and design works
    4) Any nationalities are acceptable. But preferably, persons with Japanese
    proficiency.
