How to become a regular member

Japanese Society for the Science of Design is accepting applications for membership through the online membership registration system (Smoosy) from October 2021. Please follow the procedures below.

  1. Please complete the application process by entering the necessary information from this site .
  2. After your application is approved by the board meeting, you will receive a “Request for Procedures” (enclosed with a remittance of membership fee) from the Secretariat Office.
  3. When you receive the “Request for Procedures,” please follow the instructions and pay the necessary fees.
  4. You will be admitted to the Society after the Secretariat confirms your payment.

*The Society’s fiscal year begins on April 1 and ends on March 31 of the following year.
*If you join in the middle of a fiscal year, you will be required to pay the annual membership fee from that year.
